CUPID BITE (Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut Chocolates)

If you never tried cooking meats with bitter gourd, if you never tried ice-cream during winters, nothing to be worried. But if you never tried a CADBURY, you missed LIFE.

Don't mind, this is not a generalized comment by anyone, but whenever I visit a store to pick up a Cadbury, I feel living my life fully. I feel like living my dreams as I press my teeth to take a bite on Cadbury, and especially when it is Fruit & Nuts. If you feed it to someone, I bet the person will bite your hands to take the entire piece of bar after taking the first bite.

Cadbury Fruit & Nut is one of my favourites to carry in my pocket when I plan a trip on my two wheeler. It is tasty, crispy and more importantly it is healthy. I am a chocolate addict and so I go through the variety in a store and pick up the latest in the market. But, the Cadbury are my favourite brand and I never come out of a shop without a pack of a Cadbury product.

COMPOSITION:

The Cadbury Fruit & Nut is composed of sugar, cocoa butter, milk solids, cocoa solids, emulsifiers (442,476), raisins, cashew nuts, apricot and sugar. It also contains artificial and nature identical flavouring substances.

STORAGE CONDITION:

The Cadbury Fruit & Nut chocolate should be stored in a cool, dry and hygienic place to protect its crispiness. Excessive heat may deteriorate its shape making it semisolid and sticky.
The product is best to be taken before 12 months from packaging as per the company instruction provided at the cover of the chocolate.

PACKAGING:

The Cadbury Fruit & Nut comes in a velvety pack of violet color. The chocolate is wrapped in a silver paper to keep its quality and texture. Over the silver wrapper, a waxed paper is wrapped again. This makes the packet gorgeous and keeps the chocolate in shape besides its velvety pack of polythene. The red and white patches were suitable mixed with the purple to give it an excellent look so that whenever someone hits the view, will stop for a while to admire the designer of the pack. This pack of Cadbury has the specialty of look. There is a picture of two glasses pouring milk over the fruits towards the left hand side of the pack and on its right the word Cadbury is swirling in its trademark.

When we tear open the chocolate, the Cadbury Fruit & Nut, it smoothly sails to our palm from its pack and rests gorgeously with an appealing aroma, to be particular, an appealing chocolaty aroma which is enough to wet your lips. If you wait a while, saliva will start dribbling from your tongue. There are eight pieces of this chocolate bar which are designed nicely to break up into to small breaks attached to each other with somewhat a crunch, though it don't make exactly a crunchy noise.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE CHOCOLATE:

Once I had to attend an medical test of my nephew in a hospital which was situated at a remote part of the city. The place was inside an army base camp and so there were no market build ups around the hospital. The sun was travelling fast towards the west and our tummy started murmuring. Practically we were  hungry and there was nothing to eat. Fortunately we found an army canteen in that base camp and we headed for that. There was nothing available as they use to dispense household goods and some wines to the armed force personal. There were some biscuits and nothing else that we can chew to get rid of our hunger. Luckily my nephew pointed out a Cadbury pack at one of the showcase and showed me. That was my first encounter with the product I am reviewing, the Fruit & Nut.  We bought a few of it and sit under a tree. Chocolate was my favourite as I said earlier and so it was nice to find the Cadbury over there. We took as much as we can, to be true, delightfully, and moved back to the hospital. The medical test of my nephew was over at around 5 pm and we headed back to our residences without any feel of hunger for missing our meal. I still remember the day as my nephew too and recall it whenever we visit or pass across any military base camps.

The Cadbury Fruit & Nut is crispy and whenever you bite on it, a taste of milk touches your taste buds. The taste keeps changing as you continue to masticate. The fruity tastes of cashew and apricot can be felt clearly. It is very very tasty and if you take a bite, you will be impatient to take the next until your mouth is over sweetened for too many of it. The sweetness is not so high and you may develop sweetness within your mouth due to too many of it not just a single bar. If you keep sucking it instead of crushing it up, than the chocolate tastes somewhat different. You can feel the fruits on your tongue sometimes if you observe it minutely.

LOVE LINK:

Have you ever tried gifting your girlfriend with a milk chocolate? If not, then you have missed a most amazing moment. The way they behaves is really interesting and especially when they are upset over you. (I did not notice the change in boys, if gifted by girls as I am a boy myself). We did it a lot being young and even now also I do it to my wife. For my late sitting at my computer table she gets upset and next morning when she starts scolding me, I just take out a pack of Cadbury or another chocolate to make her happy. She smiles back and now a days I am not sure whether she makes a scene at the sunrise for the pack of chocolate or she made it a habit.

Cadbury Fruit & Nut comes in different sizes and the one I would prefer most of the time is of 44 g net weight. This size is quite good and carries easily in my pocket. Moreover, if I have to give it to someone, it does not empty my pocket too much. I mean, it is economical to carry the 44g pack as it is not much costly as the larger pack. Moreover, the size is very good for a person to take singly.

I am not diabetic and so the amount of sugar present in the Cadbury Fruit & Nuts does not make me much difference. But a diabetic patient may deposit some sugar from this chocolate. Research works published from time to time shows that chocolates have some benefits for the heart patient.

If you are yet to taste a Cadbury Fruit & Nut, I will suggest you test it right now as the taste is somewhat different from other products of Cadbury.  Sometimes, I encounter with a problem of whitish layer over the chocolate bar and on going through the packet carefully, I could find out that the temperature and humidity changes may cause product to develop a whitish layer over it. But this is not to be worried as the company assures you of fitness of the chocolate for consumption.
